Directions
The showground is just west of Stockton on Teeson, Teesside. The most straight forward route in is to approach from the A66 which runs East, West through Teesside and across to Darlington and beyond.
You can use the map of the show area on Google to get directions straight from your home, or you can use our directions below.
From the South
The A66 can be reached from either the A19 or the AI (M). For those travelling up the country from say, south of Leedsthe best route is probably up The A1 (M) for those more local i.e. approaching from York and Thirsk areas the A19 would probably be the preferred choice.
A1(M) Route
- Travel up the A1(M) until the M66 to Darlington (be careful as there is an A66 signposted do not take this).
- At the end of the M66 there is a roundabout with two exits take the straight on exit.
- Go up the hill to the next roundabout and take the third exit (signposted A66)
- Continue on this road to the next roundabout and go straight on (you will see Darlington football stadium on the LHS). Carry on to the next roundabout and go straight on (just after this roundabout you will see the brick train on the LHS).
- At the next roundabout turn right and continue on for about 5 miles to a slip road (The 1st exit you come to), you should see our signs from here but in case someone has nicked them, the slip road is signposted Stockton and Egglescliffe. As you come to the top of the slip road turn left i.e. take the 1st exit.
- Continue on this road for about 2 miles until you arrive at a T junction, turn left and then immediately right
- Continue on this road and you should see the show on the LHS.
A19 Route
- Travel up the A19 until you come to the A66 to Darlington.
- Go along the A66 for about 5 miles until you see our signs, if these are not visible then take the slip road signposted Stocktonand Egglescliffe at the top of the slip road turn right and go over the bridge over the A66.
- At the other end of the bridge there is a mini roundabout, take the 1st exit. (the 1st road on the left is the sliproad)
- Continue on this road for about 2 miles until you arrive at a T junction, turn left and then immediately right
- Continue on this road and you should see the show on the LHS.
From the North
From Newcastle and further north the best route to the show is probably down the A1(M). From Sunderland and the East coast area the preferred route would be down the A19. Unless you are in the Redcar area in which case you would come straight along the A66
A1(M) Route
- South of Durham look out for the A177 signposted Sedgefield take the A177 and continue on for about 10 miles until you come to a roundabout this should still be signposted A177 and you will turn left along a dual carriageway for about three miles. You should then reach another roundabout where again you continue on the A177. This should be the second exit on this roundabout.
- Carry on until you reach another roundabout (there should be a Tesco supermarket on the LHS as you approach the roundabout and the Horse and Jockey pub on the RHS of the roundabout). Turn right.
- Carry on along this road, past the School on the RHS, until you come to a mini roundabout, go straight on, after about 500yds you will come to another mini roundabout again go straight on.
- About 50 yds further on there is a turning to the left and immediately after this there is a turning to the right signposted Redmarshall take this right turning.
- Continue on this road and you should see the show on the LHS
A19 Route
- As you cross over the River Tees on the flyover take the A66 to Darlington(be careful do not take the A66 to Middlesbrough which is the 1st Exit).
- Go along the A66 for about 5 miles until you see our signs, if these are not visible then take the slip road signposted Stocktonand Egglescliffe at the top of the slip road turn right and go over the bridge over the A66.
- At the other end of the bridge there is a mini roundabout, take the 1st exit. (the 1st road on the left is the slip-road)
- Continue on this road for about 2 miles until you arrive at a T junction, turn left and then immediately right
- Continue on this road and you should see the show on the LHS.
From the West
- From West of the Pennines come in from the A66 travel a short distance up the A1(M) northbound to the M66
- At the end of the M66 there is a roundabout with two exits take the straight on exit.
- Go up the hill to the next roundabout and take the third exit (signposted A66)
- Continue on this road to the next roundabout and go straight on (you will see Darlington football stadium on the LHS). Carry on to the next roundabout and go straight on (just after this roundabout you will see the brick train on the LHS).

From the East
- From the Redcar area come into Teesside on the A66 carry on through until you are outside the 50 mph restriction (other side of Stockton) until you see our signs, if these are not visible then take the slip road signposted Stockton and Egglescliffe at the top of the slip road turn right and go over the bridge over the A66.
- At the other end of the bridge there is a mini roundabout, take the 1st exit. (the 1st road on the left is the slip-road)
- Continue on this road for about 2 miles until you arrive at a T junction, turn left and then immediately right
- Continue on this road and you should see the show on the LHS
